1. Meeting new people is fantastic! As a Cape Town tourist guide, this app gets you to see what you really want! Choosing your guide is much better than going on tour with a boring guy you didn't even choose, just saying.Warning! Be very careful with this app.

Overall a great experience.I had a frustrating booking experience and when I tried sending some feedback via the app it was impossible as you're obliged to select the subject which is fine except that the drop-down menu doesn't stay up, so you can't select and end up unable to contact them ...Great concept but can't search places before I get there.

3. I almost cancelled my recent tour because I was surprised when the host told me the cost in his native country.Easy to use this app to book tours, choose a guide and make payment.

4. Basically $200 for a private car compared to $30 on a bus tour.. I also did not realise this site was in pounds, then trying to cancel 30 min later, nope, and , no phone support.

5. I've deleted it already.It just has an annoying bug that when I use it on my phone (Samsung S21) the search bar gets covered with the 'with locals' logo while I write the name of the city I search.

1. Fix Withlocals Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Withlocals: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Withlocals App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Withlocals" » Open Withlocals » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Withlocals » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Withlocals app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Withlocals servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Withlocals" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Withlocals app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Withlocals might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Withlocals. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Withlocals then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Withlocals not working

2. Fix Withlocals Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Withlocals be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Withlocals not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Withlocals may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
