4STREAM Customer Insights

1. I have found the app and system stable across 4 gens of android phones.I'm quite impressed, application was able to pair to my Arylic Up2Stream HD DAC effortlessly, it is intuitive, easy to navigate, and stable.

2. Could have a notification area on Android to let me control play and pause from the android pull down - stop the music for instance while in another applicationLatest update is almost unusable.

3. Nice when it works, but randomly will fail to recognize that some or all of my three Arylic S10s are present on the network, even when I can identify and ping the devices from a terminal on my phone.

4. Currently the app does not consider orientation (gyros) when rendering as I would like to use the controls In landscape mode as well...not only portrait.Good, easy to use, app and great hardware.

5. still has the glitch where if I change the volume using Spotify, one of the amps changes to max volumeThe most recent update removed support for Pandora.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix 4STREAM Issues

1. Fix 4STREAM Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart 4STREAM: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the 4STREAM App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "4STREAM" » Open 4STREAM » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for 4STREAM » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear 4STREAM app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from 4STREAM servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "4STREAM" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check 4STREAM app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, 4STREAM might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall 4STREAM. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall 4STREAM then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing 4STREAM not working


2. Fix 4STREAM Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make 4STREAM be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to 4STREAM not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, 4STREAM may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
