1. VERY DISAPPOINTING.A very useful wallet that is helping to send money,buy credit, and pay electric bill It's relabel and convenient and has the lowest charge ever .I am really enjoying the application with my friends and family.Long life WaveGreat app for e-banking and saving money, but the problem is especially in the Gambia you can deposit your money with no problem but if you want to withdraw it out is always a big challenge and that's has to change if people are going to continue using Wave in the Gambia including me.

2. because you can have a urgent 🚨 mission to accomplish using your money in your wave wallet but where are you going to have an agent who will withdraw it for you? It is always a big challenge please help us that.The app is easy to use and the charges are cheaper than others financial transaction apps.

3. I made a transfer to an unregistered wave number, even though the number is not registered, the transfer went through anyways.I would really love to see this wallet being able to receive funds from Paypal wallet.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Wave Issues

1. Fix Wave Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Wave: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Wave App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Wave" » Open Wave - Mobile Money » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Wave » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Wave - Mobile Money app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Wave servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Wave - Mobile Money" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Wave app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Wave might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Wave. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Wave then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Wave not working


2. Fix Wave Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Wave be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Wave not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Wave may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
