About Kyvol

Kyvol Customer Insights

1. Regarding permission issues, it's possible to disable them through the system settings after initial setup.I have tried everything and the app will not connect to my device nor will the vacuum connect to the app.

2. After twenty minutes of vacuuming it does start acting normal like it normally would for example the boundary line magically exists of where it's at and stop going past it it stops and turns back around finally but that should not be happening.

3. The remarks about not able to connect WiFi and setup the vaccum cleaner I would say is mainly because those people do not understand how to set it up (technologically incompetent).

4. Couple times the vacuum has passed the boundary line and I also noticed I'm supposed to have a map on the left side on the app I don't even have a option to click on map I have the E20.

5. I don't know who changed what in the app code but please change it back! Vacuum never finishes running because of it.

6. Supposed to do zigzag then edge cleaning to finish but it never get to the edge cleaning.Recent update has caused a big problem.

7. When I got the vacuum it did perfect zigzaging though the house instead of go until it hits a wall and turn around.

8. At that point I gave up, and will be returning my vacuum bot.Works BUT the GPS is off horribly.

9. It's comparable to the big name brand and at almost half the price you really can't go wrong.The main reason I am writing this review is due to the negative reviews I have read.

10. it was discontinued within a week of my getting it.😥Update: They fixed my previous issue but more issues arise.

11. I've lost my maps 3 times now which means I have to re-edit my no-go zones and walls each time.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Kyvol Issues

1. Fix Kyvol Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Kyvol: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Kyvol App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Kyvol" » Open Kyvol » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Kyvol » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Kyvol app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Kyvol servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Kyvol" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Kyvol app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Kyvol might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Kyvol. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Kyvol then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Kyvol not working


2. Fix Kyvol Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Kyvol be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Kyvol not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Kyvol may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
