Videoshop Customer Insights

1. I even happily paid for the pro upgrade... but ever since the update in March, the video loads from the thumbnail screen in slow motion, and the audio is out of sync.

2. But doesn't do much good when the app itself wont work.OMG this was the easiest video editing app I've ever seen! Absolutely no skills necessary.

3. It allows you to do the minimum basic things like trim the video and add music and words and even has a very large typeface catalog.

4. It has easy peasy choices for vertical or horizontal camera modes and putting several smaller vids together in order to create a larger vid was as simple as going to my gallery and checking the boxes.

5. I also like that you can export to many formats, including gif.I've been using the free version of Videoshop to edit TikTok videos since 2019.

6. It's very complicated to sync audio and video together for something like the music video.

7. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because when you're done editing You just see the edit button and if not careful you will get stuck in a loop.

8. I had to splice together 15 smaller clips just to make a 30 min vid and I wasted a whole night trying to figure out how to do it on the more complex apps, I did it here in no time and everything connected seamlessly with the click of a button.

9. And when you finally think you got it down, and you export the project, the audio sync is nothing like you spent hours trying to get it to.Very disappointed - has a lot of bugs.

10. The biggest frustration is that at some point - and this has happened twice - my videos WON'T play when I'm trying to edit.

11. There's alot more freedom with how I edit my videos and audio, despite the limitations.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Videoshop Issues

1. Fix Videoshop Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Videoshop: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Videoshop App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Videoshop" » Open Videoshop - Video Editor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Videoshop » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Videoshop - Video Editor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Videoshop servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Videoshop - Video Editor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Videoshop app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Videoshop might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Videoshop. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Videoshop then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Videoshop not working


2. Fix Videoshop Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Videoshop be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Videoshop not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Videoshop may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • For some reason, some of the songs I am uploading will not play. Their stored in the correct place in the correct file. Can you please help. It is somewhat time sensitive.
