What users are saying

1. If you're someone that uses the mail regularly I highly recommend it and if you're someone using the mail commercialy I can't imagine not having this app.Things like tracking, Informed delivery, etc., are just shipped off to a mobile browser.

2. The only way to add tracking numbers is to add them on the main screen then don't press Enter, insteadtap the search icon to the right of your text.

3. You can't enter tracking numbers on the tracking screen.

4. Then took away the ability to assign nicknames to tracking numbers.

5. The current issue I have, is I no longer have the ability to add tracking numbers in the tracking portion of the app.

6. Entering tracking numbers on the tracking page seems to still be an issue.

7. For one example, if you tap/click on an image in informed delivery, you should be able to see a full-screen version where you can easily zoom and pan using standard gestures like with other apps.I don't understand why we don't get regular updates, the app needs them.

9. This icon isn't present when typing on the tracking screen itself.

10. I guess postal workers are always sorting, haha! Use it, it will help you know what your expecting in your snail mail! 4 stars.It's great ! What a value ! I think it was only a couple bucks for a year or maybe longer I can't quite remember.

11. Now everytime I click a tracking number it takes me to the actual website not the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix USPS Issues

1. Fix USPS Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart USPS: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the USPS App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "USPS" » Open USPS MOBILE® » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for USPS » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear USPS MOBILE® app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from USPS servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "USPS MOBILE®" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check USPS app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, USPS might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall USPS. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall USPS then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing USPS not working


2. Fix USPS Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make USPS be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to USPS not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, USPS may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
