To get back where you were you need to scroll past all the ads you've already seen.The content and news alerts are great, but if you only have the free version, you quickly find out that many of the news alert notifications you receive are for articles that are only available for paying subscribers.

1. Fix USA TODAY Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart USA TODAY: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the USA TODAY App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "USA TODAY" » Open USA TODAY: US & Breaking News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for USA TODAY » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear USA TODAY: US & Breaking News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from USA TODAY servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "USA TODAY: US & Breaking News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check USA TODAY app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, USA TODAY might not work.
