1. ESPECIALLY mobile check deposits having countless different issues that will take about 3 different days of trying multiple times to get it to go through or get it to work without crashing halfway through the processThe app works quite well HOWEVER the mobile deposit feature is awful.

2. I also want to add, Union Bank is a great app and I've never had trouble with transfers! it's just unfortunate that it's still bugged out :(This is the worst app ever! I've had it for months and I've only been able to deposit 2 checks successfully out of at least a hundred.

3. Depositing checks is a time consuming process – if I have a stack of them, it's probably faster to drive down to the bank.This app rarely works properly.

4. It either tells you you're doing something wrong while you're taking the picture, even when you're following every instruction, or it allows you to take the picture and says it's not clear, no matter how clear, well lit, or well angled it is, or how dark the background is.

5. Once I signed out, I attempted login without using I'D and password, but that feature doesn't work.

6. From the unannounced, unscheduled downtime that pops up about once a week in the mornings, to the apps inability to connect to their servers when you want to do anything other than check your balance.

7. They need to fix it immediatelyYou are supposed to be able to deposit checks through the app, but it never works.

8. I can't count the times I've been told it can't find the endorsement when it is clear as day.I had to uninstall because the log in was claiming i had the wrong password.

9. The app tells you all these things that are wrong with your picture and still says it after you have made every possible effort to correct themThis is not a good app.

10. This feature works quite poorly and take some time to make it work.

11. There's a splash screen that says you need to agree to some sort of disclosure but it doesn't let you scroll to click on anything and therefore you can't use the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Union Bank Issues

1. Fix Union Bank Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Union Bank: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.

  3. Clear Union Bank Mobile Banking app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Union Bank servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Union Bank Mobile Banking" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Union Bank app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Union Bank might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Union Bank. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Union Bank then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Union Bank not working


2. Fix Union Bank Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Union Bank be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Union Bank not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Union Bank may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
