1. Where the hell is the cameras we all paid for? So when I am driving I am supposed to navigate down to some setting to activate a layer so I can maybe see a camera? WORKS LIKE THE DOT!Last year's version where I could see the state map without entering a destination was better.

2. Last winter '21/'22, I was able to see the plows cams and road conditions on the non-major roads.

3. Someday, this app is going to be the reason someone is killed on the road.I have a new Samsung S22 phone.. Tried to register and it wouldn't even let me finish wouldn't let me scroll up so I could accept the terms and conditions the conditions.

4. The old 511 trucker was better than the new one, a lot better.Does not display road conditions anymore, toggling settings does not change anything.

5. I live on a rural road and hoping to be able to use those app like last year but since the app has changed to don't look at as much.

6. I don't want to use this for GPS, I want to see the road conditions with the legend visible without having to open a side window.

7. I'm a trucker and the current road conditions is what I need to properly plan my trip.

8. You also cannot back out of the app to close it, you have to force close it.Doesn't even show the current road conditions.

9. Last year's version was much easier to use, and you didn't need to mess with it while driving.

10. App is effectively useless without this core function.Horrible, non-functional alerts setup.Like everything the DOT does, it made this app useless.

11. So I am changing my rating from a 2 to a 4.I use this app in the winter to check my commute route, so I haven't used it in a year.

1. Fix Iowa 511 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Iowa 511: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Iowa 511 App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Iowa 511" » Open Iowa 511 » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Iowa 511 » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Iowa 511 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Iowa 511 servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Iowa 511" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Iowa 511 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Iowa 511 might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Iowa 511. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Iowa 511 then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Iowa 511 not working

2. Fix Iowa 511 Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Iowa 511 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Iowa 511 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Iowa 511 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
