Why should I report an Issue with UDOT Traffic?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. If I could open the app look at 2-3 traffic cams along MY route and make a better decision, that would be great, but using the map isn't going to happen.**UPDATE** Changing to 5 star.

2. It used to have a crash issue on startup, but after emailing the developer they fixed it and let me know so I could update the app - great response.

3. All around just a great app! For anyone with the instant crash issue, they put out a second update that fixed the issue for me.

4. The update previous to this last one crashed but i could change the location setting manually to get around the issue.

5. For the guy who can check road conditions, turn off the little location icon and it will let you move around to any part of the map.I love using this app.

6. The freeway camera function can be very useful to see freeway flow density and to see if snow is sticking to roads and passes.

7. Love the app, use it almost everyday.The setup needs worked on, 4 of the cameras don't shown hwy40.

8. Love the forecast option that shows road conditions broken down into 3 hour segments.

9. ***Update** They appear to have fixed the menu, but now everything is in a very bright magenta background without any way to change this.Probably the best dot app I've used.

10. I use the traffic cameras to see my commute for weather and accidents.

1. Fix UDOT Traffic Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart UDOT Traffic: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the UDOT Traffic App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "UDOT Traffic" » Open UDOT Traffic » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for UDOT Traffic » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear UDOT Traffic app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from UDOT Traffic servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "UDOT Traffic" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check UDOT Traffic app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, UDOT Traffic might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall UDOT Traffic. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall UDOT Traffic then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing UDOT Traffic not working

2. Fix UDOT Traffic Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make UDOT Traffic be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to UDOT Traffic not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, UDOT Traffic may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
