1. I would have rated it 5 stars but one of the recent updates for the phone app defaults the charts to open with a useless chart view.

2. This seems to be recent with the implementation of the less detailed charts before the ''full charts.'' I don't see the use of the less detailed chart before the full chart.Tradingview is great; **on PC**.

Please reverse it!Bring back the News by Watchlist button on the right side bar that was previously below the Alarms button on the desktop version was removed and now news flow is located in the bottom of the technicals window, which I minimize so I can see more of my watchlist, so I have to drill down to keep finding news.

Thanks, again.TV used to be a simple and sleek app but recently they have mixed too many new ui components with old and made the most used functions hard to get to ( opening a list ticker to full view, displaying percentage vs price, setting time intervals etc.). Now on top of that they are displaying ads right in the middle of everything.

5. The old chart UI provided the best experience as it provided a one click option to every tool, similar to the desktop version.

6. It first takes you to a useless mini chart then you must now guess at where to click.

7. It also takes forever for a chart to open once you click on it.

8. There is no point in using the app for technical analysis anymore as the new update (9/2022) forces you to have to click multiple times to get what you want.

9. You have to select full chart view to get to your preferred chart view.

10. That was a terrible idea! I can't imagine any trader or investor being satisfied with the default chart.

11. Now have to click twice to get to a chart from the watchlist.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TradingView Issues

1. Fix TradingView Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TradingView: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TradingView App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TradingView" » Open TradingView: Track All Markets » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TradingView » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TradingView: Track All Markets app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TradingView servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TradingView: Track All Markets" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TradingView app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TradingView might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TradingView. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TradingView then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TradingView not working


2. Fix TradingView Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TradingView be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TradingView not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TradingView may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Hello, Kindly assist ..I paid for my pro + subscription on 11/30/2021 for 1 year with a Visa ending 0297..amount 197.40. Receipt # BK0P8B1ED4F0. I am trying to use trading view for charting but I'm getting messages that I need to upgrade. Please assist. Thanks

Hello, I have been trying to cancel my subscription but unfortunately I have not been able to. I have sent several feedback complaints letting you know that I could not access my billing information. I would like a refund for all those previous months I was unable to cancel and the payments to stop. Thank you
