Why should I report an Issue with TomTom GO Navigation?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Rerouted me to a quicker route due to a collision ahead of me and also tells you that your exceeding the speed limit but there are a couple things I'd like to see on this app, I'd like to see next turn displayed and an (ETA) estimate time of arrival which is the one thing that could cause me to not continue using this app as ETA is very important to me with my job.Although it says the map is for North America, I cannot get it to find an address outside of Ohio where I live.

2. This could be helpful in that it reduces memory requirements, but I would suggest TomTom make it clearer what the problem could be when you get the message "address not found" when you know the address is real and correctly entered.I like the app screen on the phone but when showing in my car screen via Android Auto it doesn't include the Exit number.

3. That being said, I sometimes have to open Google Maps to find businesses, and the routes have occasionally been bad (such as routing me into a reversible toll road that is currently closed for my direction of travel).They claim it will allow you to set the specifics (height, length) of your vehicle see pictures above, But they don't tell you that it is not an available feature on the basic plan.

4. No matter whether we chose the shortest route, or the fastest route, it seems we got either a bunch of turn offs that were unnecessary, or it dragged us off the interstate onto a bunch of side streets just to make sure we were going the shortest distance.

5. Google maps works fine on wireless Android Auto, so it has to be specific to this app.

6. Driving around LAX or other busy intersections its not helpful to see an arrow showing where to go but not include the same detail the phone screen shows.

7. If they fix that, this app is 5 stars!I'm a long time TomTom user! I was so excited when I found out that I could put an app on my phone to use with my android auto.

8. Only issue I'm having with that app is my "my places" brings up my saved places on my phone but the list never completely shows the whole list if I'm trying to select them from my car screen.

9. I have generally had a very positive experience with TomTom, the highway preview feature is far and beyond superior to Google Maps navigation.

10. We were a little annoyed with the route planning algorithms when trying to drive through Portland Oregon recently.

1. Fix TomTom GO Navigation Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart TomTom GO Navigation: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the TomTom GO Navigation App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TomTom GO Navigation" » Open TomTom GO Navigation » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TomTom GO Navigation » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear TomTom GO Navigation app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TomTom GO Navigation servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TomTom GO Navigation" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check TomTom GO Navigation app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TomTom GO Navigation might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall TomTom GO Navigation. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TomTom GO Navigation then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TomTom GO Navigation not working

2. Fix TomTom GO Navigation Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TomTom GO Navigation be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TomTom GO Navigation not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TomTom GO Navigation may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
