1. Less convincing: The list of business addresses is abysmal, the speed limits shown & the time calculated are mostly wrong, the route calculation in the city is not smart choosing roads with more traffic lights, Android auto split screen view is not supported and the app crashes often. It has potential, and I want to like it, but the lane guidance feature needs to be severely overhauled.
2. Edit: If I go into multi-tile mode while on a trip, the track stays in the middle of the main screen instead of sliding over when the map screen gets smaller.I really like the look, but the functionality needs work.
3. One glaring issue I found is when connected to Android auto is that it does not show my upcoming events from my calendar.
4. Also seems to eat up more battery than other apps, which is kinda understandable since its using GPS but sometimes I just want to look at nearby stores or find parking and that shouldn't kill my phone.
5. And when you share the screen with other cards in AA, your route gets covered.
6. Traffic isn't well reflected, and I've ended up in bumper to bumper traffic while Waze and Google Maps show heavy traffic.
7. Now with the update to android auto, you can't even see the trip track when in multi-tile configuration.
8. Normally your location is centered on the screen, but while on a route in AA your location is shifted all the way to the right side of the screen.
9. Love the clean looking interface and the route guidance.
10. Not so great when connected to Android Auto.
11. The three options given are always the worst, consistently sending me on additional 10 miles of back roads to save 30 seconds (which is why we should be allowed to choose the route).
Since a recent upgrade to AmiGO, the exceed speed sound warning is far to quiet and can be easily missed if the radio is playing or the driver has poor hearing. The previous warning was much better and should be reinstated as an option.
Thanks,
John
