1. Contains presets, wav recording, a stepped arpeggiator with diatonic/pentatonic scale locking, a multi-pattern sequencer, wave shaping oscillators, resonant filter with envelope and pitch locking, and an effects rig (including formant filter, pitched delay, reverb, down-sample, bit reduction. ) Can be played by non synthesists as well: load presets and control sound through motion.
2. Fang Synth is an app based on motion control of a synth, arpeggiator, and sequencer through accelerometer information.
3. There is optional scale locking as well, allowing you to select a root note and scale from the diatonic scales (major, dorian, phrygian, lydian, mixolydian, minor, and locrian), major/minor pentatonic scales, and the blues scale.
4. The oscillators are capable of fm (osc B modulating osc A. ) Both oscillators can have their signals sent to the filter or directly to the amp envelope.
5. All voices are sent to an effect rig with a formant (vowel) filter, pitched delay, reverb, and bit reduction.
6. The synth's sounds are generated with five voices, each with two oscillators that either modulate between triangle and saw or sine and square.
7. The filtered and unfiltered signal is sent to a per voice down sample and per voice delay under synth menu.
8. The arpeggiator receives notes from the sequencer and keyboard.
9. A white noise signal can also be added to the filter or directly to the amp envelope.
10. Held notes can be cut off by sequencer notes of the same pitch.
11. Capable of strange sonic textures, complex evolving arpeggios, or classic synth sounds.
1. I highly recommend getting this app (:This app is cool but it doesn't seem to tell you what the notes your selecting for it to play actually are so it will probably be impossible for me to actually use this when making music since I don't know what notes it's playing, it also clicks & pops a lot on and off other then that it sounds really good imo so I hope they update so it says what the notes are, please also add Chinese scale and a way to choose which movement of the accelerometer effects what.Another amazing app from Aknull...the ease of use, the sounds, and the extreme fine tuning of the parameters is enough to give any classic hardware synth a run for it's money...I want to tell my friends about it, but I also want to keep it secret lol, for reasons you will understand if you download itlove the sounds I'm getting out of this and the gestural modulation it's fun and satisfying to p...
2. First impression - hell what is it ??? Later ... Damn, this is so cool! I like the appearance of the interface, the application doesn't cut off, the sounds play smoothly, + for saves and recording options.
3. It would be super cool to get a app that makes sounds similar to real instruments and utilized the accelerometer.
4. Ty again:)I love the minimalistic UI and the innovative approach with accelerometer parameters for every commands.
5. Thanks Dev!As cool as or even cooler then your Dragon synth.
6. I need 3 new phones to strap to my arms and legs and dance lolI also bought your Dragon app.
7. I'm thinking about getting a small tablet just for audio noodling.
8. I was hoping for fat noisy bass and was able to modify one of the patches to give exactly what i was looking for.
9. Really cool! This is excellent once you get used to it.
10. The motion controls work excellently and are very precise.
11. Well worth the priceI love it.
