Zavvi Customer Insights

1. I pre ordered a starwars figure over a year ago, nearly time to receive it but they just sent money back with the explanation there outta stock... So wots the point in pre ordering, so won't be ordering again... You get better deals elsewhere.This is an app/performance review For some season now if I add something to my basket but decide I don't want it a can't remove it as the bin button and the minus button do not work anymore why?..... Also being a red carpet member I've just seen Leon is sold out yet I didn't get a email to say it was even available Thanks zavvi for another job well done (That's sarcasm by the way)There is almost no benefit to downloading this app as it is identical to the website.

Unable to load products a lot of the time, sometimes even whole pages won't load and/or buttons won't respond, even to open the app menu or look at the basket Able to add to basket but unable to remove items or update amount of each item Links in emails or push notifications open the app but don't take you to the actual product the selection was advertising which is rather annoyingExcellent online shop with lots of goodie for all geeks and nerds 😃This is an updated version of my first review.

3. Overall, unsatisfied with the end user experience, although there are occasionally good deals to be had.Pretty much the same as the website, except pages are occasionally a little slower to load, can't open multiple tabs, can't use dark-mode.

4. The app is clunky and messages although are prompt are met with "sorry for the inconvenience." Much better options elsewhere.App review only : Slow performance, constantly stopping and freezing with white/blank screens - especially when scrolling through the home screen with the offers and suggestions.

5. Their delivery packaging is terrible your steelbooks arrive dented And don't sign up to receive emails from them or you'll be bombarded with 5+ emails a day.Horrible experience.

6. I am a long term red carpet member but I haven't ordered anything for ages simply because the app is now so poor.The recent update has rendered the app next to useless.

7. What's more, this app clears the cache every time you close it, meaning a sign in is required every time you want to check account details or make a purchase.

8. My first order was delayed for reasons unknown and, though courteous, Customer Service was unable to give me a straight answer.

9. Ordered item in May 2021 and only after contacting them in December found out that item got lost on warehouse.

10. Needs refreshed often only to find things out of order or simply swapped out from the previous list of items viewed.

11. I have used Zavvi on more than one occasion (yes, twice) and on the second occasion my order was dispatched within 24 hours.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Zavvi Issues

1. Fix Zavvi Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Zavvi: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Zavvi App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Zavvi" » Open Zavvi: Film, TV & Collectables » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Zavvi » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Zavvi: Film, TV & Collectables app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Zavvi servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Zavvi: Film, TV & Collectables" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Zavvi app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Zavvi might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Zavvi. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Zavvi then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Zavvi not working


2. Fix Zavvi Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Zavvi be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Zavvi not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Zavvi may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
