Taptap Send Customer Insights

1. They completed the transfer on day 3 after I had already sent via other means.I am having great difficulty typing in data to sign up and enter information needed for my first transaction.

2. They should have specified that the app is made for low income individuals, I made 2 transactions of $900 and another one of $200 and suddenly they suspended my account, they requested for my source of income, which I did provided to them and they still didn't unlock my account, i called them multiple times and they still couldn't rectified the issue.

3. When i finally got to the stage of entering my bank card information, the glitch continued, repeating fragments of what i was typing, filling the entire line with repeated letters and word fragments.

4. I did two transactions then I had a problem, I was told they were in the process of fixing it, then I was told that the account was fixed and everything was restored, and finally I was told that my account was being closed with no explanation.

5. TERRIBLE ! Awful! I registered for the app andprovided them with all of my ID and any assistance they needed including my bank accounts at any other financial information that they wanted to check up on if necessary.

6. After going through the lengthy verification, they canceled the transfer, suspended my account and refused to elucidate WHY.

7. Just rubbish!Horrible Experience! You must use a debit card (no payment protection for fraud) and send digital images of passport or DL.

9. I get a successful transaction immediately and to sum it up I just got a summary of all the transactions I made in June, this was a wow for me as I didn't even keep a record of my transaction.

10. We've had to suspend transfers due to a problem with your account." Contacted support and they replied "Unfortunately, we will not be able to reopen your account.

11. DO NOT TRUST THIS APP! They say to reach out to them but when I did, all 3 of the people I spoke with were completely unhelpful in resolving the issue with my account, although one really tried.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Taptap Send Issues

1. Fix Taptap Send Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Taptap Send: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Taptap Send App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Taptap Send" » Open Taptap Send: Send money abroad » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Taptap Send » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Taptap Send: Send money abroad app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Taptap Send servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Taptap Send: Send money abroad" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Taptap Send app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Taptap Send might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Taptap Send. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Taptap Send then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Taptap Send not working


2. Fix Taptap Send Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Taptap Send be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Taptap Send not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Taptap Send may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Dir Sir or Madam,
    It's been à while I made à request concerning my problem with taptap send. So now I can send money with the app again which makes it useless for me to keep the app and I want my account to be deleted. Given that I have the right accordingto the GDPR or the CCPA which bind a fine of 7500$ according to CCPA and 4% anual Turn over accordingto GDPR If my account is not deleted. I want my account to be deleted immediately.
