Ba Customer Insights

1. Thank you for having the trial version so I could find out it wasn't going to work.The app first works fine, when the baby side device goes to sleep mode there is no video being sent.

I would also like to know if we need to purchase 3 licences, 1 for each parent station and 1 for the baby station?Just bought it after reading the comment of you that there's no need to buy twice, only to realise the only way is to log in to your Google account on the other phone? This is not something I want (or people do, I think?).

3. Best features: Ability to use the parent station phone without losing audio, reconnects without having to interact with the baby station again, switch cameras on baby stationThe sound and alerts for them work great.

4. Android TV version 8 on parent side.I currently use Baby Monitor.

5. I'll rate the actual app when I come home from our trip ;)Works great, but so realise that you need to buy the app twice, one for the "parent phone" and one for the "baby phone"! Price is too high in my opinion.

6. Disappointing.I love that the paid app has a trial version because we've tried and hated a bunch of baby monitor apps.

7. Then, when using the trial version, it paused every 30min and the link to download the full version directs to an error screen... So we were unconvered when we really needed the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Ba Issues

1. Fix Ba Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Ba: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Ba App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ba" » Open Baby Monitor 3G (Trial) » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ba » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Baby Monitor 3G (Trial) app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ba servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Baby Monitor 3G (Trial)" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Ba app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ba might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Ba. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ba then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ba not working


2. Fix Ba Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ba be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ba not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ba may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
