Why should I report an Issue with Lollipop - Smart baby monitor?

1. This does not happen on my wife's iPhone.The video feed constantly glitches out with weird lines and chunks of the video feed becoming blurry or disappearing completely for 20-30 seconds almost non-stop.

2. Not helpful for monitoring when baby cries if it's turned off! Also battery issue - even after I have killed off the app for the day, (not visibly running in the background) it seems to have a hidden piece still running and draining battery.

3. I know this isn't due to my internet connectivity either, this is a problem with the Android app since my wife has this on her iPhone and never has an issue with the video feed.The app is extremely slow.

4. It becomes incredibly frustrating trying to see if my baby on the feed when it's cutting half of the video out or has a bunch of lines through the feed.

5. After using this product for the past 2 years, I have learned that other camera systems are actually WAY more reliable.

6. It would constantly drop out and each time I would contact support, it was blamed on camera placement in regards to closeness to the router.

7. Anytime we try to use the camera at a friend's place it has never connected.It's not perfect, but it's overall a fantastic product and value.

8. But, until I compared it to other camera systems, I didn't realize how much more difficult and inconvenient it is.

9. It simplifies everything so much!! We can check in on the baby, we can play music, and we get alerts when they are crying! I have two notes that don't detract from the rating but I feel like would improve functionality.

10. Not to mention these won't work on a 5G network so any strong router upgrade is completely useless, rendering these ineffective.Works as I need it to.

1. Fix Lollipop Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Lollipop: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Lollipop App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lollipop" » Open Lollipop - Smart baby monitor » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lollipop » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Lollipop - Smart baby monitor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lollipop servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lollipop - Smart baby monitor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Lollipop app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lollipop might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Lollipop. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lollipop then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lollipop not working

2. Fix Lollipop Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lollipop be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lollipop not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lollipop may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
