What users are saying

1. It was quicker than I expected.I am currently sitting on the toilet, right, so I've just took a dump and now I want to publish my music, but Spotify says otherwise because everytime I press log in it takes me to a new page, like it's supposed too, then I put in my details and it redirects me to the app, but, yes but, it says "light in has failed please check your internet" I have 4G on and my WiFi is full bars? Please Spotify help me.

2. Thank you SpotifyI love the app I was able to accomplish certain things but one problem I have is that I can't post a canvas video to my song, it'll take me to the agreement and terms page and then when I click "agree and continue" nothing happens.

3. Overall I think Spotify does a fantastic job helping music artists, and especially the new artists that are trying to get exposure for the first time.

4. (Oh Jesus I didn't realize I could write so much, if only I could write like this in schoolBeen trying to change a canvas, the "agree and post" button after you've selected your media does not work rn.

5. It may take time for your account to connect to your artist account on Spotify's backend if you're doing this from a distributor (e.g. Distrokid).

6. It'd be nice to have Some post production tone control over your songs It seems like things change a little bit after you upload them In the process they go through to become public.

7. Only downside is THERE NEEDS TO BE A REAL TIME UPDATE FOR TOTAL NUMBER OF STREAMS ON THE HOME PAGE.

8. So I can't post it at all.Very nice app for every artist whose music is on Spotify.

9. These 2 things need to be fixed asap.Absolutely not "real time" analytics.

10. More real time data and tools for editing and updating material.

11. Also from time to time the total streaming numbers decrease instead of going up.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Spotify Issues

1. Fix Spotify Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart Spotify: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Spotify App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Spotify" » Open Spotify for Artists » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Spotify » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Spotify for Artists app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Spotify servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Spotify for Artists" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Spotify app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Spotify might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Spotify. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Spotify then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Spotify not working

2. Fix Spotify Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Spotify be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Spotify not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Spotify may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Hello, I have a problem. In my Spotify for Artists profile, my new song "This release is not part of your current catalog" appears. Can you help me? I uploaded the same song to another Spotify Artist profile a year ago. The streams were also taken with them.
