Easy Line Remote Customer Insights

1. I get a text, and my aids reset to default, and now I can't hear! And it takes FOREVER to reconnect the app to set it back for the meeting! This is maddening, and it simply MUST be fixed!I've been using this app to control my hearing aids for about 6 months now.

2. It is sad that there has not been an app update given the number of problems in the last 5+ months.The app works reliably to control my hearing aids.

3. After confirming that the hearing aids are paired in the app, the app then tells you you need to pair within the OS for streaming.

4. Now won't connect to hearing aids I see that others have had same issue AND INSTEAD OF FIXING THE ISSUE, they give a long, link that has to be typed in.

5. Now I cannot hear my phone calls through my hearing aids, yes I have done all the suggested repairs listed.

6. First with the bad - It's a little slow to connect to my hearing aids - sometimes it takes several seconds.

7. The customer are calling out for help! They have significant hearing loss and need this app to work corrected.I installed this on my moms phone, it sometimes works.

8. I am using a Samsung S23, it was working fine, them all of a sudden it won't recognize my left hearing aid.

9. The app is laid out in a simple manner which makes it so easy to use.The Costco hearing aids are ok.

10. Now the good - It's nice to be able to set the volume and change the programs without reaching up and fiddling with my ear, especially when I am in a meeting or other situation where I wish to be discrete about it.

11. The other thing, not sure what's going on but she can use the remote to adjust her KS10's to the right level, but a few minutes later it switches to a 'quieter' mode, and she can't hear again.I seem to begin to have problems in Nov, 2022.

    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Easy Line Remote" » Open Easy Line Remote » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Easy Line Remote » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Easy Line Remote app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Easy Line Remote servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Easy Line Remote" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Easy Line Remote app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Easy Line Remote might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Easy Line Remote. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Easy Line Remote then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Easy Line Remote not working


2. Fix Easy Line Remote Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Easy Line Remote be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Easy Line Remote not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Easy Line Remote may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
