About SmartLink Network

1. Control your Weathermatic SmartLine landscape irrigation system from your Android device with the SmartLink Remote Control app.

1. Where is my walk site feature? No longer user friendly in the field.beaware that after updating app you will loose all your info like zone pics..build zone numbers...w lost 2 weeks of work after updating lost everything...i call this pure junkUsed to be great before the update but doesn't work as of late!Very good app to keep up on your irrigation on your lawn.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘Unable to add controller to the app.Doesn't open on my phone.

Get your stuff together weathermatic.the old version worked better this latest version is horrible as a irrigation service technician I will not recommend this product but unfortunately have to deal with it at the properties that have itApp used to work but not great Now when trying to access controller it just "loads" endlessly.so wifi totally worthless!Terrible update.

3. I have to essentially re-download the app every time I need to access my controllers.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SmartLink Network Issues

1. Fix SmartLink Network Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SmartLink Network: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SmartLink Network App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SmartLink Network" » Open SmartLink Network » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SmartLink Network » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SmartLink Network app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SmartLink Network servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SmartLink Network" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SmartLink Network app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SmartLink Network might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SmartLink Network. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SmartLink Network then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SmartLink Network not working


2. Fix SmartLink Network Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SmartLink Network be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SmartLink Network not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SmartLink Network may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
