SDCCU Customer Insights

1. It doesn't matter whether you do the front or back side of the check firstWorst mobile banking experience I've ever seen! I have been continuously more and more frustrated with your "convenient mobile banking." First, the Android app has not received an update in over 3 years.

2. Speaking of uploading checks, the next time the app snaps a clear photo and doesn't distort it - is the app compressing the image, or formatting it? Nobody knows! - to a point where it's unrecognizable and unusable will be the first.

3. Other items aren't particularly clear, like the "location" button, whose purpose isn't clear until you click on it (it launches a browser and takes you to the 'branch and ATM locations' page of their website).Huge lag time when processing requests, whether it be looking at account balances or uploading checks.

4. Second, 80% of the time I try to get into the app, there is an "unknown error." Lastly, I was able to get in my truck, drive to the bank, and deposit a check more quickly than I could get into the app to do a mobile deposit.

5. Wish I would have waited until forced to switch. My first attempt at an online check deposit did not work, and was met with an unhelpful and nondescript error message.

6. I live out of state and can't deposit my checks! Time to switch banks...Attempting to do a mobile deposit and the camera keeps screwing up.

7. I have ALWAYS gotten an error, every time I've tried the last several years to do mobile deposit.

8. Followed the instructions to setup fast balances, the only function I use frequently and there is no way to add a device and it doesn't show the device I have setup on the text banking section.

9. The UI offers some improvements compared to the "old" SDCCU app, like showing all elements of the check deposit process on one screen.

10. The first thing I tried to do was print a transaction record and it would load the print preview but not allow me to print it.

11. If you are using the platform from a mobile device at slow, choppy, and crashes.
