You can fill out scholarships in-app, filter, and ITS FREE! use the scholly free trial and copy the info to going merry, it's better in almost every way.They have continued to take the subscription amount from my husband's account, but the app has completely crashed and is just continuing to buffer, and it doesn't let us use it at all.

2. You're better off researching for hours to find new scholarship matches.I've tried 4 different scholarship tools & this tool has the most broken frustrating user interface which is embarrasing since it's the most expensive out of all other options by A LONG SHOT.

3. A total waste of time and money.I have completed all the fields and have been matched with many scholarships; however, I cannot access them because my plan is not upgraded.

4. So not only did I miss out on my free trial because of technical errors, I paid $50 for outdated scholarships.

5. However, after putting in the information, I am unable to access the scholarships that I may qualify for according their matches.

6. Downloaded the app looking for scholarships and i couldn't see any of my matches once i out all my personal info in.

7. Everything requires that you update your subscription, but even when I was offered the free trial, the system is not responding.

8. The third is an upgrade for 1 month for 4.99. huge disappointment....just needed help with the rising school costs.I downloaded this after seeing the guys pitch in Shark Tank.

9. Says i need to upgrade, they give two free options one for a year and one for 6 months.

10. Also a subscription service for scholarships? How much more capitalistic could this be.

11. I could have just sat for a couple hours and conducted my own search.Signed up for the annual subscription and it won't let me use the premium features.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Scholly Issues

1. Fix Scholly Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Scholly: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Scholly App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Scholly" » Open Scholly: College Scholarships » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Scholly » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Scholly: College Scholarships app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Scholly servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Scholly: College Scholarships" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Scholly app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Scholly might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Scholly. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Scholly then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Scholly not working


2. Fix Scholly Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Scholly be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Scholly not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Scholly may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
