1. It also doesn't give you the option (like the website does) to refer to Qmax, Express Vids or Flashcards when on a certain FA page.The whole point of Rx is to easily be able to integrate all your resources and I'd really like efficiency In that the most when I'm on the go trying to use my time wellYou will not regret your decision of choosing USMLE rx for your steps preparation.

It would be nice if the study stream gets optimized in the same fashion so when you need to check the corresponding FA pages from within the study stream, it wouldn't require to constantly zoom in and out those FA pages.Used to be pretty bad not gonna lie (it was ugly and clunky), there was a recent update however that has made this app an amazing alternative to hitting the spacebar on your computer.

3. Honestly the integration of every question with the brick and first aid is unmatchable with any other resource.The app does not have the same feel as when used in a browser.

4. There should be good integration of links to watch videos, play flash facts, answer questions from Bricks and many more integrations like that.

5. After a card comes up, you can click to view the page in FA but it doesnt seem to be formatted for mobile.When it comes to a study partner reading first aid.

6. I have had challenges when taking timed tests in that the app refuses to accept my answer for some questions after going working through all the questions in the test.

7. It's getting better compared to the original editions that looked more like a mobile copy of the FA web browser page.

8. Have a way to mark questions bc the bug doesn't show questions marked until you move off the question.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix USMLE-Rx Issues

1. Fix USMLE-Rx Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart USMLE-Rx: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the USMLE-Rx App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "USMLE-Rx" » Open USMLE-Rx » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for USMLE-Rx » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear USMLE-Rx app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from USMLE-Rx servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "USMLE-Rx" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check USMLE-Rx app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, USMLE-Rx might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall USMLE-Rx. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall USMLE-Rx then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing USMLE-Rx not working


2. Fix USMLE-Rx Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make USMLE-Rx be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to USMLE-Rx not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, USMLE-Rx may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
