1. Combine this daily with a delivered Sunday paper to your home and its perfect!Change is hard! The Salt Lake Tribune has been trying to innovate for years with a series of often mediocre digital platforms which came under evolving leadership and ownership.
2. Who cares or has time to follow up on where a given story happens to be on the print edition (which I don't subscribe to, nor have any interest in)?! Even in accessibility mode, the app is unusable, and forces some kind of binding to the print edition page numbers and such.
3. Well done Salt Lake Tribune! Thank you for finding a way to communicate local news that matters!Stick with the website! As an SLTrib online-only subscriber, I find this app to be completely unusable.
4. Yes, there`s a swipe option to zoom in and view original format, but this is like trying to read a physical paper with a magnifying glass.
5. You can't even read the full headlines in the default Home Feed mode so you have to guess what each article might be about before opening it.I have been very impressed with your app until today.
6. Have your developers take a good look at The Guardian and other news apps to get a sense of how to do it wellThis app is really lousy for reading the daily newspaper on an Android phone.
7. You can "flip" the pages just like it's a regular newspaper and zoom in to read, or click on the article and it comes up big to read.
8. It shouldn't be this frustrating to read the news! The app was never as polished as some out there, but it worked and that's all that matters to me.
9. But they kept at it and have finally landed on a smooth modern format where the user experience is like a traditional paper but the transitions and interface are beautifully modern.
10. It started out fine…but then…can’t print out the puzzles or the answers, sometimes the editions just don’t show up.
11. However, I updated the app today and now the puzzles do not print on 1 page.
