1. I hope O'Reilly understands that their service is only as good as their mobile app..Great way to access and read computer books (as well as take courses, but I haven't tried that).
2. It's great to be able to organize one's content into Playlists, which become your book shelves of sorts (although there's an implicit size limit of 10 for each list, at which point it quietly rejects further additions :-().
3. My biggest issue is there is no option to read the book to you (read out loud) which is a feature I use all the time, at least if I could export books on demand I could use my own reader.
4. As another example of a program that provides an immersive mode that is excellent for reading, I suggest using the Liquid mode of Adobe Acrobat.
5. Reading is an experience, you have to make it compelling.2019: The offline mode does not support highlights well.
6. Over all a good and useful resource.Far superior than the mobile application, the offline mode is my favorite and a good data saver.
7. My biggest issue is that it constantly logs me out, which renders the offline download/reading feature useless, since you need to be online to log in to read.
8. I find Google Chrome to be immersive, as an example, because once the reader scrolls down a page, the chrome hides itself, leaving the reader focused on the page.
9. You have quality courses with video as well as professional reading right from the book all in a well curated course.
10. We really need to work on casting support so I can watch on my TV and have my phone available for note taking or googling related subject matter.
11. Videos often won't continue in a course and when I return to the app to select the next one it completely disconnects.Safari's content is great.
