1. The phone version also doesn't play well with the Room Radio functionality (tablet version is better at this).I absolutely love Roon and enjoy the decentralized aspect of music storage and playback.

And don't get me started on Plex being able to allow music over the net ( ie Android auto)...It is great app which allows you to play your music from your sofa but unfortunately for a good while i can't you search because after you tap the screen so you can start typing what you are looking for the keyboard appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears so you can't type.

3. Other then that, Absolutely love Roon.Been working perfectly for me lately, had issues before with the remote disconnecting but that seems resolved in my experience, in which case i give it a full five stars, just hope it stays that way.

4. It would be nice to pick up where you left off when switching Roon to a different device, but unfortunately you have to search for the same music you're playing to have it transfer to a different room.Absolutely love Roon!.

5. I have to force quit the remote several times before it does anything (this is a regular problem from several devices, not intermittent)... and when I'm unlucky, there are other random problems that require me to reboot the core or deauthorize the core to get things working again.

6. Maybe it works better on Apple devices but really who wants to pay for apple devices.Roon is essential for my music life, and this app generally works well.

1. Fix Roon Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Roon: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Roon App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Roon" » Open Roon » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Roon » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Roon app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Roon servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Roon" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Roon app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Roon might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Roon. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Roon then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Roon not working

2. Fix Roon Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Roon be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Roon not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Roon may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
