Why should I report an Issue with Screencode: Share Text Offline?

1. Simply share any file or text from your favorite app and select "Screencode" in the share sheet to start sending or broadcasting to a Screencode receiver. Nothing else required.

Definitely an A+ for idea and effort, but it's more a technical proof of concept than a practical application, as even if one can get over camera recognition issues (especially for older cameras) the byte transmission rates are always going to be far too slow to be usable and the alternatives out there are numerous and significantly faster and more reliable.

3. Using this approach to transferring data is realistically only viable for very small amounts, that can be encoded in the QR format.

4. The mobiles with curve edge can't send files, as the code can't be seen properly.. This irritates me a lot! So please work on it!!🙏🙏It's bad.

1. Fix Screencode Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Screencode: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Screencode App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Screencode" » Open Screencode: Share Text Offline » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Screencode » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Screencode: Share Text Offline app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Screencode servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Screencode: Share Text Offline" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Screencode app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Screencode might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Screencode. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Screencode then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Screencode not working

2. Fix Screencode Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Screencode be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Screencode not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Screencode may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
