1. An option to purchase an ad free version of the app, or the ability to exit the advertisement by pressing the back button would drastically increase the quality of the user experience.I love this app and I love being quizzed on a handful of words at a time.
2. This app serves to correct that.A great free app that teaches me words to improve my vocabulary, and the developer is responsive to feedback and continues to improve the app.
3. But if you're a writer looking to improve your vocabulary with words that are in common usage, this app is perfect. The definitions are not great.
4. My only complaint is that after the quiz instead of your score or even a clue on whether you got the last question right, you're forced to watch a full screen ad; I'd gladly pay a few $$ to turn that off! Otherwise all good.Advertisements received have only been able to be closed by touching the x tucked away in the far corner of the screen, causing mishap clicks on the advertisements themselves.
5. With clearer definitions expounding on words that are multiple parts of speech this could be a great app.AWESOME APP.
6. To build my vocab (and for the challenge), I wanted to add quizzes only from words that I had gotten wrong.
7. Pro tip: if you want your daily word history rather than an alphabetical list under the current word of the day, click the crossing arrows icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like it indicates "shuffle".No bells and whistles.
8. It give you at least one definition as well as the pronunciation, a way to share, and save words so you can go back and review what words you've learned! The quizzes pop up daily also, which give the opportunity to learn 5 more words.
9. If your looking to boost your 'vocabulary ego' with big obscure words, this is NOT the app for you.
10. Starting with the positives, being able to play through different quizzes has been very helpful for me.
11. Being on our phones 24/7 is slowly making me stupid and lazy when it comes to vocabulary and definitions, as well as spelling.
