What users are saying

1. It would be great if there was an option to hide the upper panel (where buy and sell buttons are) and the bottom panel (where tools are) to give more space to the chart.

2. Not sure if this is fat thumbs or that the area that links to the chart is now smaller but I do know that this issue does not occur with other apps.

3. please fix!They've now introduced a silly chart icon button next to bid and offer, and for some reason its has become really unresponsive when you click to access a chart.

4. My biggest issue though is that in the new version, working in tablet mode, it only allows you landscape view and not portrate.

5. When in landscape mode, the chart seems a bit cramped due to its limited width.

6. The last request is can you solve the issue with drawing tools,especially trendlines When a trendline is drawn in a higher timeframe it keeps on shifting points when you get to the lower timeframe.

7. When you unclick tablet view, ou can view in either landscape or portrate, but you cant have two time frames next to eachother like in the old version.

8. IF ITS NOT BROKE DONT FIX ITLike the new look but please could you look at the chart button.

9. I cannot move the chart further to the left like I can onan Iphone or an Ipad.

10. The recent update to replace the timeframe selection with a horrific spinny wheel selector thing has rendered it basically unusable.

11. when zooming inon a chart, the right most pricebar/candle sits all the way up to the right limit of the chart.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ThinkTrader Issues

1. Fix ThinkTrader Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ThinkTrader: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ThinkTrader App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ThinkTrader" » Open ThinkTrader » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ThinkTrader » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ThinkTrader app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ThinkTrader servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ThinkTrader" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ThinkTrader app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ThinkTrader might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ThinkTrader. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ThinkTrader then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ThinkTrader not working


2. Fix ThinkTrader Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ThinkTrader be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ThinkTrader not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ThinkTrader may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
