Quizlet Customer Insights

1. The "games" only somewhat help for my subject matter, but for just terms and such this would be great.I'm paying for the subscription and I love the app in reality but it's so annoying that the flashcards (which I use the most) are buggy.

2. Thus said I had a hard time studying and am trying other apps to see if they have the learn feature.

3. However the best feature, learn you have to pay for after 4 uses and the matching, flashcards, and test aren't as good as this feature.

4. It would be great if the learn feature could be accesed by everyone and not just paying users.

5. (which is REALLY annoying considering the sets I make are over 100 terms) It's ridiculous that an app I'm paying a subscription for has such flaws.

6. The cards won't swipe which happens all the time, they'll only swipe half way, the audio cuts out in the middle and if you leave the app for too long it resets your progress.

7. I have made many sets as I was struggling with my math, ( and of course, academic validation is key) had to study.

8. It never used to be this bad.can't even study the set I CREATED all the way through without upgrading... I get not being able to study other people's full set without upgrading.

9. It's really cool, you can make your own flash cards and test yourself on them with different options, written, multiple choice, and T or F.

10. It's super convenient because we use it when waiting in lines at the store, or just want to have different options on how we digest our content.

11. Others sets of cards are auto-prompted to fill, and their data isn't accurate.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Quizlet Issues

1. Fix Quizlet Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Quizlet: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Quizlet App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Quizlet" » Open Quizlet: AI-powered Flashcards » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Quizlet » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Quizlet: AI-powered Flashcards app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Quizlet servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Quizlet: AI-powered Flashcards" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Quizlet app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Quizlet might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Quizlet. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Quizlet then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Quizlet not working


2. Fix Quizlet Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Quizlet be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Quizlet not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Quizlet may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • QUESTION, NOT COMPLAINT
    1. How can I create flashcards that have MY image on one side and MY text on the other side? I have a Canon Pixma MX 492 inkjet printer? When I click PRINT nothing happens.
    2. You answered this before, but I cannot believe you would not allow us: How can I sort more than one 1,200 Quizlet card at a time? I created a list, and it organically grew such that I now want to move chunks of the Quizlet cards around inside the same file.
    3. When I do the FLASHCARDS, it separates the cards I missed. How can I print or separate out the cards I missed so I can create a copy of those missed Quizlet cards?
    4. What do you recommend if I want to print out my Quizlet cards AND IMAGES I OWN on PAPER as flashcards? Please, dear Heavens, do not tell me I cannot print out my own cards and images.
    5. How can I get a FULL SCREEN IMAGE of my images I OWN so I can see them larger ( I use the iPhone most often)?

  • I use Microsoft Edge to open Quizlet ( and 15-inch laptop). Every time I go into the Learn section or the Test one, the right half of my screen has all the content. And the other half has nothing.
    The second thing, when I go to the writing part, I type the wrong answer, and the screen disappears. Ideally, the correct answer must appear, but nothing appears.
    So I hope you guys fix it as soon as possible. because I see that these errors have happened for a months

  • I want to be able to remove old sets permanently from my account, not just "hide them". My site is just a mess and although I now know that I could of copied some of the study sets and delete them easily, years ago, I did not know that. It seems that the only solution is to let my subscription lapse and start again. Or find another flashcard app.

  • I just discovered that I have been charged $36 a year since 2017 for an account I no longer use. I must have signed up with my school email in October 2017 when I was a substitute teacher. I no longer am a substitute nor have access to that email. So, I believe all my transaction notices (assuming you've sent them) are going to that email. I opened a dispute with Chase VISA. I am sure you can understand my serious concern over this. Can you please refund me for the last 3 years? You can see I barely used Quizlet even while a sub. Thank you very much.

  • ! I did the “I am human” photo clicking TWICE, and it said “Oh no! We blocked this request because it seemed like it was made insecurely.” I teach students NEW to the country and many have never been on a computer. This security feature is the BIGGEST ROADBLOCK!!! They can't get onto this platoform and many times I can't either!! Please tell me how to get around it or take it off! I have emailed customer service FOUR times about this issue and have yet to get a reply!

  • I am the tech coordinator at Fenwick HS. One of our spanish teachers purchased a quizlet license last year but cannot play the game this year. She has sets created and wants to play Quizlet LIve with her students. She can access and play at home. I have checked our filter, whitelisted quizlet and quizletlive, with no luck. Any suggestions?
