1. REALLY FRUSTRATING 😤The App sometimes does not open, when it opens, no chance to scan your toy (tried for really long time from all possible angles) You buy a toy, that's all.I can't even open the app.

2. It crashes as soon as the intro video starts playing.Unable to make this app work I have everything I need but it never scans it.

3. Plus it requires to have the camera at about 12 inches above the toy around 45 degree angle with the ENTIRE TOY AND CARD inside the camera grid which is really impossible.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Wildlife Wow Issues

1. Fix Wildlife Wow Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Wildlife Wow: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Wildlife Wow App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Wildlife Wow" » Open Wildlife Wow by Nat Geo » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Wildlife Wow » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Wildlife Wow by Nat Geo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Wildlife Wow servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Wildlife Wow by Nat Geo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Wildlife Wow app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Wildlife Wow might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Wildlife Wow. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Wildlife Wow then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Wildlife Wow not working


2. Fix Wildlife Wow Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Wildlife Wow be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Wildlife Wow not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Wildlife Wow may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
