Why should I report an Issue with Pokétch: Shiny Hunt Counter?

1. I wish there was a pause button on screen for the sole purpose of pausing the hunt to switch episodes or something but other than that, amazing work.I love the layout, it's so easy to start hunting and switch hunts.

2. Oh, I also heard of people having their data wiped for no reason- It would be nice if there was a way to save our data to an account or something, but Idk if that's asking too much? Regardless of that I really like the interface and how orderly it all is, very convenient.I was asked to update the app with no available updates in the store and when I reloaded my app all my hunts were gone.

3. 8-12-20 Edit - I've redownloaded the app and i would like it if we were able to add pokemon to our collection without having to specify a date and also being able to change the "collected on" date whenever.

4. Edit: 2023... is there going to be a Scarlet/Violet update?I wish we were able to manually edit the time it took to get the shiny or have an option that allows you to remove it if you want to.

5. Also being able to sort by the date you found the Pokemon would be nice.

6. For example, I encountered a shiny Altaria on January 31 2018, but it gets saved as January 30 2018, and now I can't fix the date.

7. While this is possible, it would be great if the collected date showed up in the list instead of the imported date.

8. Otherwise, great app!When you set a Pokemon's collected date it will make it a day off from what you set it as.

9. The problem is still not fixed and unless it is this is one of the worst applications to use for shiny hunters becasue it doesnt actually save your hunts.

10. A pause button would be great while doing a hunt! Also, I'd like to add my shinies from before I got this app to the 'collected' list.

11. Just two complaints: first, there doesn't seem to be a way to organize your mons, which can be annoying if you like to plan out hunts far in advanced or if you are doing multiple hunts.

1. Fix Pokétch Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Pokétch: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Pokétch App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pokétch" » Open Pokétch: Shiny Hunt Counter » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pokétch » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Pokétch: Shiny Hunt Counter app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pokétch servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pokétch: Shiny Hunt Counter" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Pokétch app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pokétch might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Pokétch. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pokétch then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Pokétch not working

2. Fix Pokétch Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Pokétch be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Pokétch not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Pokétch may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
