1. Some of the issues I've had: 1) Videos will randomly crash to the pluralsight title screen, 2) clips randomly restarting from beginning, 3) videos automatically restart on my phone once I stop castingIf I were able to give fractional stars I would have rated this app about 4.8. The service so far, for me, is a solid 5 stars, but the app itself is a little clunky.
2. The app needs to be tested against other forms of playback devices to make sure it works.When the video is being played, once minimize the current video window (click the down arrow at the top), the whole window just disappeared with audio is still playing.... there is no way to bring the course playing window back.
3. I really enjoy being able to watch Pluralsight courses from the comfort of my sofa.[Update 2021-05-09: critical issues not fixed almost 2 years later.
4. Another example: Earlier today, I paused playback on a course, came back several hours later, and Chromecast w/ Google TV had booted to recovery screen with messaging about an unstable application.
5. The only remedy was going into the Google TV system menu to perform a "Force stop" of the Pluralsight Application.
6. Give it a try!I love PluralSight, but the only time I use this app is to watch on my Chromecast, and I've found this experience to be unusable at times.
7. The app is also inconsistent in helping you resume your course when resuming.I've tried to learn from Pluralsight in the past and just didnt care enough to go past skin deep.
8. Performance and latency issues are not a problem for me (and I'm using a relatively unreliable connection) however there are a couple of quality of life issues I've noticed.
9. When casting with this, only the Pluralsight logo appears on the screen, no audio, and play/pause buttons are nonresponsive.

11. I've loved Pluralsight for years! Excellent instructors, and the skills, paths and evaluations are great.
