1. Oh please integrate video calling into this app .. The whole app needs improving..I use text free because I happened to get a great number that's easy to remember and as far as texting goes its a pretty decent app.

2. Texts are fairly reliable though- this is my go to "phone broke"/"out of service" texting app.Better than any other free text and calling app.

3. Then I discovered Text...free (is this text free I'm reviewing?) and now I can use my phone again as long as I have an internet connection! No really, it's cool, the only markdown is because of the overwhelming numbers of ads that sometimes you can't even seem to navigate out of.

4. I have not paid to keep my number, but people call and text me regularly so it stays.Unless I'm very close to my router, my calls are pretty much intelligible.

5. It allows you to send videos up to 100 seconds long which is considerably longer than most messaging apps.. However, it might have the word "voice" on the end but you do not want to try to make or answer an actual phone call.

6. In spite of my buying minutes the calls are always either disconnected or I can't hear the caller or they can't hear me.Been using this app for almost a year and while there are some problems, I like it.

7. Only thing I would change is when the random ads pop up you should get credits for those too, not just the ones you watch for actual credits, because you still have to sit and watch them too.Honestly I preferred this app over many other texting and calling applications.

8. Also, whenever I have the app open, even while in the background, it makes every other app run slower because it's consuming 60%+ of the phone's memory.So, my overall experience has been fair but very shaky.

9. I'm sure all of you have had urgent messages or calls received or and been trying to make urgent calls or messages.

10. I mean I get it, you HAVE to have ad driven revenue in order to keep a free service, but not to the point where it would interfere with the performance of the app/ customer experience.

11. Imagine if you weren't able to make those calls or messages due to the ads slowing you down to the point the app will crash or freeze.

1. Fix Text Free Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Text Free: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Text Free App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Text Free" » Open Text Free: WiFi Calling App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Text Free » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Text Free: WiFi Calling App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Text Free servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Text Free: WiFi Calling App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Text Free app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Text Free might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Text Free. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Text Free then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Text Free not working

2. Fix Text Free Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Text Free be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Text Free not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Text Free may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
