Thanks!It has a bit of learning for the options in app, as its main purpose is to have a distract free reason experience Great app for Read only text documents with good formating and remembers the position and it is offline and small in size.The app takes over the entire screen rendering the back, menu and close icons inaccessible, so there's no clean way to exit the app.

2. It probably means this is showing its ageIt's almost comic that in the sea of text reader apps there's only (this) one that that reads text files, remembers the current position within a file, keeps the screen on and is ad free.

3. Why can't it just jump to the found word and allow the user to scroll up/down from there freely, like a normal text viewer?The interface is weird, but it does seem to be a lightweight app that works as expected.

5. The default text characters maybe different from the one you used on your PC or writing device ,simply press the go back key on your phone and select another character set (note your current one for back tracking) via the settings menu ,change other settings & sizes to suit .

7. It gives only two options, "load from beginning" which scrolls to the top, and "scroll a little before" which jumps into some weird location that makes me difficult to see the found word.

1. Fix Text Reader Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Text Reader: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Text Reader App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Text Reader" » Open Text Reader » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Text Reader » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Text Reader app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Text Reader servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Text Reader" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Text Reader app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Text Reader might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Text Reader. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Text Reader then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Text Reader not working

2. Fix Text Reader Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Text Reader be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Text Reader not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Text Reader may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
