I use several of the books I get from here to read in classes/small groups I take and it's hard to stay synced with the group.This app would be about perfect were it not for one fundamental issue: unless I stop at the beginning of a chapter, it NEVER remembers my place in a book correctly! It's always a couple of pages behind.

2. There does need to be a better interface for the audio book and visual book together, it's clumsy and could use improvement.It's a very nice place to read! There are a few flaws, just some minor extra things that would be nice to see.

It's a bummer that we can no longer purchase from the app, but that doesn't affect as much as my husband.My most used/loved app, but knocked 2 stars off for 2 changes that need to be made: Dark mode option needs to be for app background and independent from device setting, not dependent on the entire device being set on dark mode.

4. It would also be nice if page turn animation worked when you're using volume controls to turn pages.The app is great, love how it organized the series and let's you sort and filter books easily.

1. Fix Amazon Kindle Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Amazon Kindle: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Amazon Kindle App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Amazon Kindle" » Open Amazon Kindle » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Amazon Kindle » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Amazon Kindle app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Amazon Kindle servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Amazon Kindle" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Amazon Kindle app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Amazon Kindle might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Amazon Kindle. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Amazon Kindle then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Amazon Kindle not working
