Dictionary.com Customer Insights

1. You're trying to look up a word, listen to music, all of a sudden music breaks off, Dictionary throws a full screen car ad in your voice, full on sound and all.

2. Uninstall.Love the app, and it mostly does everything I need it to do, BUT whose idea was it to include musical video ads which play with the SOUND ON?? I was in a meeting at work and looking up a word, and then this ad started singing.

3. I tried reinstalling, but it didn't help.I used to like the word of the day and the widget for the word of the day, but at some point like a year ago it stopped updating and is stuck on "light".

4. The times I have clicked the Google search bar instead I'll regret it because a majority of the time you end up clicking away to get a full defn.

5. (1) Once you search for a word and you are in the definition tab, if you navigate to "examples" tab and try to tap back on the definition tab, it won't load.

6. I'll be uninstalling this app tonight and going back to using just the website, where ads are far less annoying, when I have to use this dictionary.Love the App.

7. TO RESPONSE: Everyone understands ads keep apps free, BUT just place ads within the article/page instead of interrupting pop-ups!The app is no longer separate from Google.

8. Certain times the download resets and you need to download the offline dictionary again.

9. So if you're writing something (ie: article, story, etc) or reading and you have to look up multiple words be ready for a lot of ads popping up.

10. Probably going to just google words for a while, until you guys fix this unfortunate mistake.

11. I've been EXTREMELY disappointed w/ it since the onset of the incessant ads & typically use a few others instead.Stay with the free version.
