1. The do-it-yourself Panasonic Home Network System makes it quick and easy to create a powerful, wireless network of cameras, sensors and controllers in and outside the home.
2. And control it all from your smartphone and tablet with one simple app.
3. The Home Network System also connects to your landline, to let you use smartphones or tablets as home phones.
1. What use is a security system if half the time you can't log on with your phone?? Sometimes you end up with an alarm going off because you didn't un set it when you went outside briefly then you can't log on to turn it off.
2. It's so frustrating and there's no way to communicate with Panasonic. The Home Network app crashes regularly, which sucks, when for example, I'm trying to disarm the alarm (for which I have 2 minutes before it kicks off), but the app is not responding, and I'm standing there, frantically trying to interact with this useless application, while the alarm is blaring.
3. Nice security feature, but won't be good if I get a new phone as I am 700 miles from camera most of the time (hope phone does not die).
4. The app itself seems to be working fine with the one camera (no hub). This monitoring system has so much potential.
5. Whole point is to be able to connect remotely and momentarily to system and react to alerts.
6. Before restarting system, which may be miles away, you'd try to restart this app on the phone.
7. It routinely loses connection and then you have to reboot system and try to connect again.
8. How to restart darn application on your phone? It can't be hard, right? Restart is really required when app fails to connect and gives up after several tries.
9. I noticed it's kicking me off my phone's wifi connection at the point where the first error pops up.
10. I relied on Panasonic name when bought the system thinking it would be way more reliable than the rest of generic or unknown competition.
11. For a home security system the first requirement is reliability.
