1. I like the ‘hide when disconnected’ feature ; bummer is, the notification will not re-appear upon data reconnection if ‘data saver’ is on; I will have to run the app again to make it re-appear.Works great, been using for about a year now since my phone does not cone with a native monitoring icon.

2. One thing I would like to see implemented is ability to choose what time the daily data usage calculation resets.Using this app for 2 years now on my Samsung J5 and have no problems with regards to battery usage or memory.

3. I got it to see the current data usage but the data used in throughout the day is a also great info to have.It's a good app but doesn't show usages and internet speed when im using internet via Hotspot .

4. Please bring back the original Compact Mode.A must-have in areas with poor or erratic coverage, so that you can observe how to place or hold your phone to achieve acceptable data throughput.

5. Everytime notification shade is pulled down, the app notification is displayed fully opened & needs to be closed each time which is cumbersome & frustrating as it only displays your app name which I don't want to read everytime.

6. However it is too huge and stays too long and causes problems if you need to use top of the screen are at very that time.The earlier "compact mode" display was more appropriate, decent to look with no drop-down feature.

7. Excellent! Simple, works well, has a clean interface and no ads, just what I was looking for to see network data transfer speeds.

8. the only kind of great feature was that it was starting up and I saw a popup in the top of the screen when internet connection gets established.

9. Also one suggestion to the dev .... If possible make the font size bigger in notification top corner ... It's impossible to see if it's in KB or MB/s 🙏Nice, simple and does the job.

10. This could/should have been a built in function of Android (and this app would be a great choice for inclusion into the next Android version).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix NetSpeed Indicator Issues

1. Fix NetSpeed Indicator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart NetSpeed Indicator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the NetSpeed Indicator App. Here is how:

  3. Clear NetSpeed Indicator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NetSpeed Indicator servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NetSpeed Indicator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check NetSpeed Indicator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NetSpeed Indicator might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall NetSpeed Indicator. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NetSpeed Indicator then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NetSpeed Indicator not working


2. Fix NetSpeed Indicator Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NetSpeed Indicator be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NetSpeed Indicator not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
