BAND for Kids is a safe space for adolescents to interact within a private social platform, while allowing parents and guardians to moderate activity. 1) Download BAND for Kids app to a mobile phone or tablet. 2) Use an email address to sign up (parent consent is required). 3) Join a private Band by parents or guardian invitation. - Kids cannot join groups they were NOT invited to. - Parents can monitor which group their kids have joined. - Parents can follow their children’s BAND activity by also joining their groups. - Kids cannot create or invite themselves to Bands/Pages. - Admin of the Band can determine which features are available to the Kids users. - With BAND for Kids, adolescent users can publish posts on the Community Board and attach files, images, or videos to the posts.

1. When I go to my son's phone to enter it, the first box says digits and doesn't allow me to enter any letters.I have tried multiple times to get this installed on my daughter's phone, so that she can talk to her teammates.

2. Get this fixed!! We did not get an email!Its so hard to log in and if i try insert my bday its always jan and feb only!This sucks I'm 12 and I still need kids Wish I can rate it half a starWhy do you have to pay to just get an account it doesn't make sense people just want to use the app not be charged.

3. Dont dowload this app without researching it firstBand is an awesome app and is a great way to know lots of things and is a great way to interact with people and friends.It doesn't working, don't have birthday option without jan, feb and march.

4. Needs some work!Only January and February for signing up I tried doing this for a group call us dosent work and I end up being over an hour late.

1. Fix BAND Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart BAND: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the BAND App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BAND" » Open BAND for Kids » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BAND » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BAND for Kids app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BAND servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BAND for Kids" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check BAND app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BAND might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall BAND. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BAND then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BAND not working

2. Fix BAND Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BAND be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BAND not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BAND may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
