E! Customer Insights

1. Now there are major sound issues including no sound when I stream from my phone to a TV.This App is horrible, to many adds if I try to watch a show.

2. When I click on a specific show and/or episode it says loading and then says it is not available to watch.

3. I've been hobbling along with this app to watch KUWTK and Botched for a couple years now, and the same problems persist.

4. EtcJust downloaded the app because I want to watch a couple episodes of Botched.

5. I get shows on tv and my computer but not on cell phone.It keeps buffering and skipping parts of my show.

6. Have to force stop every time I open it to get the "cast" button to show.

7. It's been a couple of weeks and it's still not working even after logging off and on, uninstalling and installing, nothing is working.Love the shows.

9. That's like 15 minutes of ads.This app sucks which is really disappointing! No matter the connection it has to constantly buffer and after the buffering the sound and video are not aligned.

10. There's no skimming preview so I just blindly go a few minutes in and have to watch six ads.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix E! Issues

1. Fix E! Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart E!: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the E! App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "E!" » Open E! » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for E! » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear E! app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from E! servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "E!" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check E! app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, E! might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall E!. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall E! then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing E! not working


2. Fix E! Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make E! be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to E! not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, E! may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
