1. My first transfer said more actions needed for an hour after I uploaded my driver's license as a photo ID, so I called customer service and was on hold nearly 45 minutes.

7. They asked lots of questions about how I knew the recipient, and said they would not release the money unless I proved the story was true by providing photos of the stamps in my passport matching stamps in the recipient's passport.

8. One was a money transfer that needed to be investigated and the other has been app freezing after the latest update.

9. The good news: I called customer service and they reset my card info which required a re-entry of my info.

10. I love and use this app a lot, but I'm considering switching to another application.This app and send wave service have deteriorated to the lowest level imaginable.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Sendwave Issues

1. Fix Sendwave Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Sendwave: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Sendwave App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sendwave" » Open Sendwave—Send Money » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sendwave » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Sendwave—Send Money app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sendwave servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sendwave—Send Money" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Sendwave app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sendwave might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Sendwave. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sendwave then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sendwave not working


2. Fix Sendwave Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sendwave be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sendwave not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sendwave may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

My name is Tony Otieno Martin or Tony martin Otieno I would like my data on sendwave be deleted since I dont want to see suggestion of people I have sent to money before its depressing since they dont appreciate. I have 2 email address both registered, wuodanne@redacted and wuodmartin2 @gmail.com. kimdly clear my data for me including the trasaction suggestions. This is under the GDPR act since I leave in Minnesota. Thank you
