MSC Customer Insights

1. System needs a lot of work! I can't order a drink pkg or excursion from app off ship even though it lets me view them.Easy to use app! You can book reservations for restaurants, shows, see the cruise's daily activities and tons more! Highly recommended for a fun cruise adventure.

2. more clear explanations of exactly what do to, pricing and what things include is needed to improve app and cruise service.The app is great for using onboard.

3. no problems for me but I will mention that the app didn't activate (at least for me) until the day we boarded the ship & I did purchase the unlimited internet package, not sure it that makes a difference once you leave the port.When on board it works sometimes.

4. Unfortunately, I have to compare it Carnival's app which allows you to view your portraits and has maps of each deck Overall though, the app is good and the free chat feature is fantastic! That is a huge plus over Carnival's as theirs costs five dollars per person.

5. Cus this? This ain't it.Terrible UX, no clear messages what's going on, not possible to register credit card, silly obligation to use onboard wifi which is not working properly.

6. But what choice do you have if you are going on an MSC cruise and you want to message fellow passengers?App is not well designed.

7. My first cruise with them and overall my experience have been really bad.extremely efficient and you can complete tasks without needing staff member.

9. messaging service is a great feature especially since you need to pay for each phone for WiFi.

10. And to make matters worse you cannot check in and register your credit card on line or on this app.

11. Being able to check in with your group to see where everyone is, is a great convenience.MSC is technology challenged.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MSC Issues

1. Fix MSC Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MSC: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MSC App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MSC" » Open MSC for Me » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MSC » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MSC for Me app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MSC servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MSC for Me" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MSC app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MSC might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MSC. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MSC then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MSC not working


2. Fix MSC Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MSC be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MSC not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MSC may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I have 2 scheduled cruises. App works for one but I have login issues with the other. My name is there to select but photo is greyed out. When I tap my name, it loops to a screen that says “log in”. I have cruised MSC 8 other times with no app issue. I have deleted and downloaded the app 3 times. Same issue on Iphone and Ipad. This problem has to do with the booking because my other booking works fine in the app.
