What users are saying

1. My husband has the exact same phone with the exact same app and he hasn't had a single issue with this camera app or getting it to start.Well I must say that I am less than impressed with this camera, the resolution is so low and the quality of the photos I take with it are pretty much garbage.

2. With a growing family I take lots of pictures however I find myself missing so many fabulous shots due to the nature of this camera as of recent.Slow motion video? Better than I expected! Taking photos? Eh, not the best app for this.

3. Over the past few weeks, I'm unable to pinpoint if there is a correlation is the app update and the start of the issue, but in the recent past continuing through the present, the camera is very slow to open and even slower to take pictures.

4. The first thing I go to look at when I want a new phone now is the camera quality, battery, space & easy to navigate.

5. It's always been slow but taking pictures is one of the biggest use features of a smart phone nowadays, this needs fixing! If you want to take photos with this app anywhere that is not 100% bright and well-lit, you're out of luck.

6. Even when it worked fine, it was very mediocre--for comparison, my 12 year old brick phone takes far better quality pictures and video.

7. Not sure what happened with this app but the camera will not start without giving me an error message "Camera Error, please restart camera." It take about 7-10 times trying to open the camera before it finally decides to work.

8. Occasionally when capturing video, when you finish it tells you "unable to capture video" and you don't even know until the end so that is easily the most frustrating problem I've encountered in any camera app.

9. So you never know if your camera is actually going to save your video or not.The first few months the camera worked fine.

10. The camera takes great pictures, so that part is fine.

11. Also, I would like to add that the functions within the camera app are SOOO confusing, one time I'll use it and there will be certain setting I can access and then the next time it'll have totally different settings, it's so confusing and weird.
