1. Edit: this happened again, and support is not helping adequately.I've had issues multiple times where my ride doesn't end even after docking the bike.

2. For your own sanity, bypass the app and just use the kiosk instead.Bike locked to the station upon return but didn't show up in the system as returned.

3. Had to argue repeatedly for a refund.Docked the bike, light went green, and the ride wouldn't end.

4. All in all, a broken app, and coincidentally my annual membership is up for renewal, so I'll wait before deciding on to pay for another year.I watched others fight to rent a bike without the app.

1. Fix Capital Bikeshare Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Capital Bikeshare: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Capital Bikeshare App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Capital Bikeshare" » Open Capital Bikeshare » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Capital Bikeshare » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Capital Bikeshare app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Capital Bikeshare servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Capital Bikeshare" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Capital Bikeshare app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Capital Bikeshare might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Capital Bikeshare. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Capital Bikeshare then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Capital Bikeshare not working
