1. Highly recommended, especially if you don't want to constantly be logging in and out with third party's that connect to your personal accounts.As someone who doesn't like to connect third-party apps to my bank account, Monefy is a great way to easily track money manually.

7. If you're looking at all the complicated apps, this is the one you want! Add free by the way!I wish I could have recurring expenses auto add so that the frequency of adding expenses could be kept down.

9. There is only an option to put a budget for the entire month.

10. I think right now it just let's you set a single monthly spending budget which is great.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Monefy Issues

1. Fix Monefy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Monefy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Monefy App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Monefy" » Open Monefy - Budget & Expenses app » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Monefy » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Monefy - Budget & Expenses app app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Monefy servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Monefy - Budget & Expenses app" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Monefy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Monefy might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Monefy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Monefy then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Monefy not working


2. Fix Monefy Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Monefy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Monefy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Monefy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Hello, I received an offer for a subscription for $9.99 for a year, I accepted the offer and it charged my card $59.99. I immediately canceled the subscription and deleted the app but it still charged my card $59.99. I need to dispute this offer, I can not afford that right now and I did not accept the app charging me $59.99.
