1. It's a nice app, but it's very limited unless you buy the subscription, all while having a lot of ads (both banner ads and video ads that trigger as you use the app). This new version is great because you can make the pieces of art larger and zoom in on them.
2. Having beautiful works of art pop into my daily life serves as a reminder to me, each day, to just take a moment and breathe...focus on something interesting, or unique, beautiful and/or quirky...to take a few moments and appreciate the work.
3. It's a shame you have to separately pay for removal of ads and for unlocking extra features, but I understand this may not be as profitable without those options.hands down best art writer and curater I have encountered & I have tried many art apps.
4. Additionally, when I press 'back' from a favorite, I do not want to jump to the top of the page but stay on the area I last clicked. It still does much of what it used to do, but it lacks the charm of the old app.
5. Old: I like the daily notification for learning about interesting art but I realized favorites are locked behind a paywall.
6. Art civilizes. The widget in the new version does not automatically adjust to show the whole painting.
7. If you're using this app for the basic feature of looking at a piece of art each day, everything about the new update has made it objectively worse.
8. I get new insights into old favorites and discover more obscure artists, movements, and even museums I've never heard of.
9. Every few seconds, I'm being bombarded with "try our subscription."My favorites were deleted.
10. Great response! EDIT: With the recent update, my account is gone.
11. I'm sure the new features are great, but they've come at a cost.New Edit: Fixed.
