Misfit Customer Insights

1. I've continued to try using Misfit with three different phones, going through a ton of debugging steps every time I want to sync, and it still doesn't work most of the time.Used to work fine until the last update in July 2019.

2. Although the functionality is rather basic, honestly, it's probably all you need anyway.It's great for syncing my watch, and the notification settings work great, but some of the functions don't work when trying to use the bottom button.

3. Time is rounded to 5 minute increments and until you open the app on the phone, your number of steps is approximate on the device.

4. It does better with tracking steps but has a hard time distinguishing between an easy stroll and fast-paced walk.

5. (I don't like having to charge other smartwatches every couple of days.) At least make the existing Fossil app compatible with the watch.Great When It's Working.

6. My only suggestions would be an expanded list for activity tracking (no calisthenics, hiking, or barre options, unfortunately), and maybe optional logging space for blood pressure and glucose levels.

7. Half the time it does not track my sleep like it is spposed to.

8. Removing two stars because the two features I want to use just won't work.As a pedometer or sleep monitor I really like it.

9. Don't waste your time contacting them.The watch is fine.

10. During that time the app and fitness tracker are unable to sync about 80% of the time.

11. I like it, good battery life but I only use it to track steps and sleep.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Misfit Issues

1. Fix Misfit Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Misfit: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Misfit App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Misfit" » Open Misfit » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Misfit » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Misfit app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Misfit servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Misfit" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Misfit app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Misfit might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Misfit. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Misfit then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Misfit not working


2. Fix Misfit Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Misfit be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Misfit not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Misfit may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Please help me to completely cancel my subscription. As I get notification that I have order even I didn't CHOOSE ANYONE ONE of those items.
    How come they know what foods we need if they are the one choosing of items in that order?

  • I wish to discontinue my subscription because I am disappointed. The last two boxes were ok however, I was disappointed in the selection. The company sent a few potatoes and they were so Badly blemishes that they were not edible. Several items came this way. Also the boxes couldn't possibly be worth the price. So I've decided to cancel. Thank you for your service.
