Takes a lot of patience to muddle through this nuisance for a couple of news articles.The development team seems either completely oblivious of or helpless against the bug that has been persisting for about a year now where whenever you return back to the main pages from articles, the app takes you all the way back to the top of the main page instead of where you left off along the queue.

2. Also, new version has so many bugs in it and most of the time this app doesn't open the full news that you intend to open.

3. Crashes frequently, has pop-up guide EVERY TIME you open app, even if you have used app version for many days and cancelled the pop-up.

4. They don't test application properly before releasing and there are a lot of bugs that we can catch just by running on any android phone.Latest update (version 2.9, March 10, 2022) just does not work.

5. The swipe (to the left and the right) is too sensitive though, and that can be really annoying because at times you lose a piece in the middle of reading it as the app takes you to another one when all you were trying to do was scroll down.Worst app.

6. I hope these improvements are brought in.I used to love to read from this app in its previous version, where you can browse whatever you want from opinions to blogs.

7. This behaviour is on new phone running updated Android 11 with all security patches.The app was good but with this update there are some glitches which are very annoying.

11. Absolutely Pathetic Programmers.The app was crashing suddenly months ago when i was last using it (on a different phone and OS), and is still crashing just the same since i reinstalled it a few days ago.

1. Fix Dawn Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Dawn: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Dawn App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Dawn" » Open Dawn - Official Mobile App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Dawn » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Dawn - Official Mobile App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Dawn servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Dawn - Official Mobile App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Dawn app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Dawn might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Dawn. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Dawn then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Dawn not working

2. Fix Dawn Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Dawn be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Dawn not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Dawn may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
